Today Gibby tripped us all up and angered a ton of people, cough lewis cough. He was not there to adminster the workout, as his wife/athlete got sick in Spokane. So Ryan told us the odd news. We were to do all of our pace run on the track. Most people thought this was a joke, but after we got back from our warmup, sadly he was not joking. It actaully was not that bad, but probably because i only had a 30 minute pace run.
The workout went fairly well, i had much smoother form today and i went 5:19, 16, 12, 08, 08, 08. We had a fairly big pack and we all just used each other and switch the lead on the track. Hopefully this is a good sign that my paitience is paying off.
Than we did a mile easy on the track, followed by: 400 (60), 300 (44), 200 (28), 100 (12.9). Gibby gave us set goal times to hit and i hit them, man i feel slow though
After my cooldown, i stretched a good bit and iced. Max and i went to the house and we grilled yummy to the tummy burgers and hot dogs. I am now craving one right now, ughh, maybe i ll have some trail mix.
My shin hurt but not terrible, but i may try to get calf sleeves to help with my shin splints (hopefully that is all it is), we will see.
